What is the SMC?

It’s an international mission trip offered sometime during a student's junior or senior year of high school or freshman year of college.

What do I need to do?

Participate in mission or outreach activities such as week-long, full day, or half day projects sponsored by e³ Student Ministry or Easthaven Baptist Church.  Every project will contribute “hours” toward your trip.  A total of 120 hours of service from 7th to 12th grades will gain you a major scholarship (most or all of the cost of transportation & registration) of an international mission trip, excluding a non-refundable deposit, your passport, immunization, & activity fees.

Where has SMC been in the past?

SMC has been to Romania, Russia, China, & Honduras.

How is the SMC funded?

It’s funded through the budget dollars of Easthaven.  It’s also funded through Easthaven members giving to the One $ent Global Missions Offering.

I’m ready!  When is the SMC?

The length & dates of an SMC international mission trip vary.  Typically, there is a trip offered every other year.
