Purpose

At Easthaven Baptist Church, students of all ages will learn about the five purposes of the church:

• Evangelism
  To share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.
• Discipleship
  To grow as a disciple of Jesus and to disciple other believers.
• Fellowship
  To reach in and meaningfully connect with other members of the body of Christ.
• Worship
  To express our love to God through both private and corporate worship, as well as by living a lifestyle that is pleasing to Him.
• Ministry
  To reach out and demonstrate God's love to others by meeting their needs.

Mission Statements

The mission of the student ministry of Easthaven Baptist Church is to 1) equip, assist and resource parents in their God-given task of discipling their children and 2) love, equip, and challenge students to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.  

The mission of the college ministry of Easthaven Baptist Church is to provide a church-based experience that enables members of the college community to grow in the likeness of Christ, grasp his timeless and relevant message, discover their deepest desires and longing for God, and give themselves to his work throughout their lives.
