Enjoy a Night of Worship featuring the Adult Choir and Orchestra, Student Orchestra, and special guest, Derrick Burt. Derrick currently serves as the Music Director at First Baptist Church, Natchez.  Although his incredible gifts have allowed him to perform for celebrities and dignitaries all over the world, his true love is for the local church.  "I think God intends us to have worship to tenderize our hearts.  I think it is a key for Christianity.  The word of God is for us, and the worship is for Him.  He gave us the word, and we can give him a song."  Derrick and his wife of 34 years, Kim, have two children, Derrick II and Jillian.
